Hi, my name is John Darr with Darr Schackow Insurance and I’ve got a great money-saving tip for you, to save money on your home insurance. If your home was built prior to 2002, and you have since March 1st of 2002 had the roof replaced, you need to get a wind mitigation inspection completed by a licensed wind mitigation inspector here in the State of Florida. So, this inspection is going to cost you about $100. But once it’s done, send it to your insurance agent (hopefully that’s us!) and we’ll forward it to your insurance company. The insurance company, within about four to six weeks, should apply a discount that could save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars over time. I hope this helps you save a ton of money on your home insurance. Again, my name is John Darr with Darr Schackow Insurance. For more tips like this one, please remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Thank you.
